Math for Kids

Maths practice that feels like a game.

A native iPhone app that turns maths practice into something kids come back to: timed questions, a board they can scribble on to work things out, daily streaks, and levels for each operation. Built in SwiftUI, with progress saved on the device in SwiftData.

Details worth a look

  1. 01

    Springy, tactile motion

Spring animations run through the whole app, from buttons to cards, so every tap feels bouncy and alive, the way a game should.

  2. 02

    A board to think on

Kids can open a board mid-question and draw out the sum with a finger, then close it and answer.

  3. 03

    Sound that rewards

Short sound effects mark right and wrong answers, played through AVFoundation.

  4. 04

    Progress that sticks

Streaks, levels, XP and coins are stored on the device with SwiftData, so progress survives closing the app.
